A local out of the local zone, might seem weird but the eagle is my new«local» .Its the comfort, simple old man’s pub style and homey experience you received every time you enter the pub and be welcomed by Phadraig. He is the man, the man who makes every after work hour special, he knows your s drink and he starts pouring the gin into my glass while I am sitting down at the bar there is not need to even order anymore. The Eagle would be just another old pub in the outskirts of Dublin City but it’s the charm and comfort which can’t be topped not to mention a Gin Tonic for 5 euro ;) If you looking for a simple pub to chat with your mates while having a few drinks check out the eagle it won’t let you down nor will the man behind the Bar

This used to be a brilliant pub before Dundrum changed, it was the pub where all the young people of the area went on a Saturday night when you weren’t going«out out»(Translation: out in town all dressed up). now sadly, as far as i can see, it doesn’t have a large clientele at all. last time i was there it was so quiet and there wer eonly one or two people dotted around the place. Winters in the shopping centre has seen to have taken over. It’s a pity really, The Eagle does have a lot to offer, its a nice shaped pub with an area called the library which is kind of like a little snug and the rest of the pub is layed out with normal tables along with little booths. The toilets need a big makeover unfortunately, they are really outdated and cold! This is a pub i would like to see do better but unfortunately it hasnt happened since the shopping centre moved in.
