Started with a nice complimentary soup taster with a piece of home made brown bread. My wife had a glass of white«house wine» which she said was spectacular. French unfortunately :-) she said really delicious. I’m not a wine drinker so … Huh. When they figure out how to put a head on it and serve it by the pint I might try it again. The starter if smoked salmon which we shared was beautifully presented and prepared. See photo. I ordered Killybegs Trout pan fried and my wife had Hake. Boiled baby potatoes, fantastically in season here in Donegal. And roasted veggies. What a treat. We finished with coffee and desert which was the grande finale. This place is a star in Donegal and should be kept open at all cost. It should be a main feature on The Wild Atlantic Way. Some families just came in for coffee and desert while we were there. They were welcomed and nicely served. A spectacular meal that I would have paid 50% more for and still thought it good value.
