Our usual habit is to set out straight from Dublin at about 7.30 on a Saturday morning, drive straight to Ormonds, picking up the Irish Times on the way. After 120 mile drive, I’m well up for breakfast at 9.30. Their Late for Work breakfast bagel with bacon is great, their mini breakfast is all you’ll ever need to set you up for the day. Their brioche is a great find but often all sold out by mid-​morning. Lattes so good, I always have two. And you’ll always meet someone you know. Long may it continue
