A real Irish pub with great beer and lovely staff and amazing view from the rear over Dungloe bay

Best pub on the face of the earth. Nicest people ever, so cozy, just a lovely place to pull up a book or chat to some friends. If you want a classic Irish bar experience, get a Guinness and sit yourself down in this pub. You can people watch and look at the amazing view from the balcony at sunset – and if you stick around long enough, the owner’s ancient scottish terrier may pop his head through the door and pay you a visit.

This pub has been in existence and owned by the same family as long as I am living and much much longer– my Grandfather drank here, my father did, and now my brothers and sisters do. Great view of Dungloe Bay from the back bay window. Lovely people. A very local bar but you will be made feel so welcome you might never leave.
