Great bar, great food, great accommodation, simple as that. Best place to eat in Dunmanway, as testified to by a loyal local following (highly recommend the chicken sandwiches). Really nice pub for a drink — warm, comfortable and a friendly atmosphere. Family stayed here for our wedding and loved the rooms/​breakfast. The owner does indeed have a penchant for golf, but there are always plenty of other great staff on hand if he is distracted. Also a great place to watch golf!

One word for this bar– clean. As in, OCD, perhaps? Still, I’m not complaining. Bartender was quiet. VERY quiet and heavily absorbed in the golf game on tv. Anyway– the Guinness was good and we could certainly hear ourselves talk.
