Michael Kerins Bar, or as many in the town affectionately call it ’ Mickeys’. It is one of the most popular and well known pubs in all of Ennis. It is a true Irish pub, a local for many around the area. I find myself here whenever I go out for a few pints. It has the distinction of opening early on a daily basis, making it very popular for anyone who might be looking for a pint before lunchtime. They pour a perfect pint of Guinness, have a nice covered smoking area, are located next to a chipper and a bookies, and the staff are legendary. If you are looking for a real Irish pub or just want to see what a real Guinness tastes like when poured to perfection, this is the place to go.
