Went for a pint and a bite, but he just retired. Nice gentleman. Recommend the Poet’s Corner and it was great.

Great hidden gem. Best pint in town. A proper pub for those who enjoy a great pint, excellent service and good conversation. John, the owner is a grand publican, welcoming, knowledgeable, and entertaining. A must stop for an early evening pint of the finest.

My favorite pub in ennis for a quiet pint. O’deas is like a step back in time and the bar itself is like walking into someones living room. The owner john is a real character and very welcoming. A real hidden gem with fantastic guinness
