Very friendly & very helpful staff. Great food and fantastic service. Lived in a variety of places and just moved to Ennis and this is becoming our favourite place to go and grab a cup of coffee or grab a bite to eat. Really no other place out there to compare it to other than Panera Bread in the States. Would recommend to anyone. I have actually been a few times since writing the small review above and wanted to add some more detail, the place genuinely warrants it. If you’re one of those people who genuinely love old cafes with a warm welcome atmosphere this is the perfect place to go. It has a beautiful layout, the food is absolutely out of this world, soups being the best, creamiest and most delightful I’ve ever had. They offer a huge variety of homemade foods/ready meals for customers, along with a book wall to lend and read books almost like a mini library, the staff are so lovely and very helpful when it comes to custom ordered items such as birthday cakes, overall it’s a great place to go.

This is hands down the best place in Ennis to grab a cup of tea and indulge in one of their many baked delicacies. The lemon merengue tart is to die for. Another feature we enjoy are the take away dinners for four such as curried chicken and rice or vegetable Thai squash curry with basmati rice. If you need a special dessert for an event in your life, you’re sure to find the perfect thing here. Lunch is good as well.

We had a few hours to kill before going to the Shannon Airport and just wanted a light bite. This place was amazing and the staff was so courteous! Our sandwiches were awesome, and were prepared so quickly and so hot! We walked away happy, full and enjoyed walking around this delightful town. We had no room for desert but everyone in the place was enjoying some type of pastry.

I recently moved back to Ennis from Dublin, and had yet to notice this new café in the market. I have to say though, it is a most welcome addition to the town. The first thing you will notice when you arrive is the décor. It has a very contemporary, clean design which is pretty amazing considering the space used to be a lacklustre phone shop. That’s just the beginning. The food here is simply amazing. Almost all of the ingredients are sourced locally in and around County Clare. They have a nice café menu with many pastries and desserts, made fresh daily, along with paninis and soups. I had to sample of bit of everything because it all looked and smelled amazing. I was not disappointed. I had a bowl of seafood chowder which was served with fresh home-made bread that was equally as stunning. I then had a cheesesteak panini. Now having lived in Philly I hold cheesesteaks to a higher scale of measure than most. As a cheesesteak, I can only rate it as ok, but as far as paninis go it was brilliant! I topped it all off with a tiramisu which could not have been any more perfect. The food being to die for and presented on a level of aesthetics I have yet to find in any other cafés or bistros in or around Clare, I was amazed that nothing on the was more than a fiver. Top this all off with a large selection of local products, salads, and pickled items that you can bag yourself and take home and you have a perfect little café which I will most definitely be visiting often sure.
