Treacy’s Hotel

Had the best breakfast of my life in this hotel !!! full Irish breakfast and a huge selection from the cold buffet… juices, croissants, muffins, etc. and all super fresh !! usually buffets can be a bit dodge but thees were all freshly made and prepared.
I didnt eat in the restaurant so i dont know what thats like but the bar food was grand ! i only tried the chiken iwngs now so i cant comment to much — but the wings wre great…
The rooms were fab… super clean and spotless. spacious… big huge beds and a lovely spacious bathroom…
if your coming from dublin theres a train that brings you pretty much outside it ! the town itself is quiet now not much in it. but we were looking for a quiet weekend. and even at that its not toally isolated theres still plenty of chemists around and a tescos so your not stuck ! but queit as in the nightlife is quiet ! just a few quiet bars so probably more suited for couples and such.
theres a gym in the hotel also (well its acorss the road) but the swimming pool is lovely also very big and clean and the changing rooms wre elovely and they provide towels…
