Great food at reasonable prices. I’ve never had a bad meal here and the staff are simply fantastic. I couldn’t recommend it enough

Wow this place really impressed me.
The outside looked fresh, clean and inviting, the inside was the same. When I walked through the door a friendly waitress said hello and asked were we ok, She then showed us to a free table. It was quite busy as it was about 1.30pm. They have a bar section and a restaurant section. I don’t think the restaurant part was open when we went in but the bar food looked supreme anyway so we stayed there.
The waiters/​waitresses were very polite, asking was everything ok when the food arrived, I noticed there was great friendly banter between the locals and the people serving, I would imagine they have alot of loyal regulars, and why wouldn’t you, with a place run as well as it is. The moment someone finished their meal and left their table straight away there was someone over to clear up the area, fresh and ready straight away for new customers. The staff were so happy, friendly and efficient it was a pure joy to be there!
Oh and the food, right that too! Well that was delicious! full lunch dinner for 9.95, i had the lasagne served with salad and chips, yum. for 2.55 extra you could go for extra lunch special and have soup or desert with free tea/​coffee also. My Dad had the haddock on mashed potatoes which looked lovely also.
When we walked out of the place my Dad commented how it was so nice to have friendly staff that really seem happy to be in their job and run a place so well. I told him I was going to give them a 5 star review and he said he would too (but he’s not on Unilocal,so this counts as two 5 star reviews) :P

The Courtyard bar and restaurant is highly recommended. The food is always tasty, well presented, and very good value. The staff are very friendly and deliver prompt service even when busy. I recommend the beef strips or the 8oz burger. Another bonus is the free wireless broadband.
