Lovely, welcoming hotel. Nice, large room. Wonderful back patio bar/restaurant, as if you were visiting a rich friend’s home. There’s a resident cat(which is a plus in my book). Quiet and homey. Would rate higher but the bed was uncomfortable. My back was stiff/sore the whole day after staying here. Shame because everything else truly was lovely.

A fabulous location for a wedding. It was like having reception in a lovely old house, instead of a hotel. The food we got as afters guests was very nice. Portion a little small, but was expecting a sandwich, so the sit down meal was a lovely bonus. A really nice touch was the complimentary goodies in the toilets. Gum, lollipops and small packs of lovehearts. How wonderful. Staff were very pleasant and nice to deal with. We didn’t stay, but from all accounts it’s a pleasant experience.

Very nice, homey hotel in a quiet residential area just a few minutes drive from central Waterford. The grounds, architecture, and décor were very pleasant. I particularly liked the library with comfortable chairs and view. Staff was very friendly, too. We didn’t have the extra cost breakfast, but the restaurant menu looked great, which is good because there aren’t a lot of external choices in easy walking distance. Even though this was larger and more hotelish than our typical choice, we felt so comfortable that we stayed a second night. A little more expensive than a thrifty B&B, but a very good value if you want something fairly elegant.
