One of bugger Tescos around in Dublin. Great for full house purchases wether it’s food or house hold equipment, electronics or pet food, car wipers or camping tent. You’ll get almost anything. It used to be 24/7, but now it closes at midnight. Maybe for the best, as there used to be quite a lot of scumbags hanging around. That’s why I never come here later at evenings on a bike. Afraid to leave it. Plenty of parking for families and disabled people. Few nice shops around like news agent, decent pharmacy, medical centre, barber shop and post office. There’s a fuel station with carwash. Fatties may hop into Burger King and perfect their roundly shape even with a drive though. Across there’s D.I.D. And Maxi Zoo pet shop.

Staff were extremely kind and friendly, helping us find what we needed. Tesco mobile manager was wonderful and went above and beyond to be sure we knew the best option for getting a sim in my foreign iPhone(which was a great deal btw!) very pleased overall with customer service here

In general I’m not a huge tesco fan. I find that if you’re a household that eats a lot of junk food(as we were at one point) they’re great value but if you’re a household that eats a lot of fresh produce(as we are now) it can become quite expensive very quickly. With that said this is a great Tesco. I would warn against running in here for a quick errand as it’s rarely a quick visit, or certainly for me. They literally sell almost anything you can think of from a clothes to toys to cooking utensils to electrical equipment & so much more. In particular I love going in here at any time of year where there might be seasonal products about the place. For example at the minute on the run up to Valentines day the amount of red lovehearts that assault you walking in the door is just unbelievable, and the things you formerly thought were in no way related to Valentines day are now linked to the holiday by the most tenuous means. E.g. eggs are now no longer for Easter as you can get loveheart shaped eggcups. You can also get Valentine’s crackers(similar to those found on the table at Christmas) and pancake pans shaped like hearts. I always find the time to mill about the seasonal asles at all. I love the place.

If you haven’t been to clearwater finglas, you are missing an experience in your life that you won’t get anywhere else. It used to be 24 hours but that had to cut the hours back to unruly behaviour. The cashiers(some) enjoy a good chinwag while serving you, they usually go into graphic detail about their nights. If you are not from Ireland, you may not understand what they say fully, I wish I had this ability. :( There is an element of kids that hang around outside, they are pretty much harmless but are annoying. The place is huge and has loads of groceries. Selection is pretty big and they have offers and there is a petrol station apart of it too.

got everything you could possibly ask for! only thing to put me off is the sight of people in pyjamas stalking the store, but hey maybe they’re in shopping for clothes!

What do you wear to do your grocery shopping? I ask because this Tesco is a prime example of the«shopping in pyjamas» phenomenon. I gather people actually wear their«good» pyjamas to do their groceries, but I’m still mesmerised each time I see entire families pushing trollies around decked out in flannel PJs complete with slippers… and a coat. This only serves to enhance the shopping experience however. This is a pretty vast Tesco, but I prefer it to the Clarehall one-it’s that little bit easier to trek around, while still having pretty much everything you could ever need. They have the usual groceries, with reliably fresh fruit and veg, homewares, electrical(kitchen, audio, TV…), clothes. If you landed from space tomorrow, you could probably find everything you need here. Queues are usually pretty short and the staff are friendly. There is sometimes a dearth of baskets for some reason… but they do have plenty of those little trollies. There’s a café and a pharmacy in the store but I haven’t checked them out yet. The shopping complex also has a little butchers, post office, pharmacy and stationery shop outside and DID electrical, Burger King and a toy shop across the car park. Extra bonus is the Tesco petrol station-usually very competitive and you get your Clubcard points. Woo!
