Not the most amazing meal I’ve had but far from the worst. Very very average at a very low price also so you can’t complain. 16 euro for two courses. Wings for starters. decent portion … nice enough amount of meat on the bones. Very very spicy. but towards the end of them I found them quite sickening and normally I could stomach buckets of wings but not this time … lasagne … nice and moist and saucy and mince finely diced … but lacking a kick … chips were meh… kind of hard and not fresh. Service ok. not bad but nothing special. pub itself is a bit of a dump … In terms of the crowd atmosphere also … probably wouldn’t hurry back … nice enough outdoor area to sit out when it’s nice out …

Lovely local pub. Good pint of Guinness and reasonable price for the food. Liked the layout of the pub, pity my local isn’t anything like Scholars.
