Worth saving the pennies to blow on a meal from Cava. A huge menu to select all manner of delicious tapas. So beautifully presented, the food is flawless and tastes delicious. Ordering dessert is a must. The chocolate mousse and churros made a real impression on us. The last time we were there a few wannabe diners were turned away as they had no reservation so call ahead to make sure you are not disappointed.

Okay… so I come to Ireland from the USA for the sites and sounds of a beautiful country! I am not disappointed! I do not come for the food. But what do I find? The best Spanish tapa place I have been to in a VERY long time! Food was great, wine was great and this ugly American even got a glass full of ice just by asking once!!!

One of the best meals I have ever eaten. As a vegetarian traveling through Ireland I was living on Veggie burgers and other mediocre meals for the most part, but this was incredible! Overall it was flawless. Beautiful presentation, beautiful tastes. Everything was fresh and listed where it was coming from. I had: wild mushroom & pea paella goat’s cheese & sweet potato croquettes montenebro goat’s cheese, figs, olives(v) santiago tart, pistachio ice-cream, walnut powder husband had: Meat balls free range pork fillet, serrano ham, apricots, sherry chicken breast, baby gem, pea, carrot purée, walnut powder chocolate mousse, vanilla ice-cream, candied hazelnuts, soil If you are heading to Galway, or live in Galway you should 100% eat here. It is a bit pricy, but well worth it! tip: MAKE A RESERVATION! It is a small place and couldnt get in our first night, well worth waiting another day.

We showed up for dinner, without reservations on a Sunday night and were sat immediately. The service was perfect and the food was amazing. Plenty of tapas to go around paired with an awesome tempranillo will leave you wishing you had an extra stomach to try out more of the menu. I’m convinced that everything on the menu is fantastic and original. Go. Here. Now!

Top notch Tapas. What’s not to like? These guys are a cut above the average Tapas fare — by a long shot. So while Patatas Bravas are indeed on the menu, be sure and check their specials and go «off piste» and try things you may not have had before. They’re very helpful with recommendations as well, so don’t be afraid to ask(it’s a big menu!). Fish is really excellent — we tried several fish dishes, from the classic potatoes /octopus combination, to some of their squid ink paella. All great. Love the wine selection also — and the place is very reasonably priced given the quality of the food on offer.

Galway has several great offerings when it comes to food. However, I so enjoyed my first meal here I returned the next day for lunch. If you’re planning on dinner I would recommend making reservations. The top floor is fairly small but there is a lovely little seating area facing the street where I sat to have my lunch and people watch. There is also a cozy downstairs dining area that has a great atmosphere. The food itself is delicious with many enticing options. I had the potatoes bravas, the Moorish chicken and the crème brulee with salted caramel ice cream for dessert.

Amazing! One of the best tapas restaurants I’ve ever been too. The lamb was simply melt in your mouth divine. Delicious wines. Knowledgable staff. Reasonably priced. What more could you ask?

This place has re-opened in new premises and I do believe the food is still as good as before. I went there with my girlfriend, sister and mother and no-one had any complaints. The patatas bravas were lovely but they’re simple so they should be, the morcilla(black pudding) with apple and something that escapes me was very good, loads of flavour if a little lumpy. The pork fillet wrapped in Serrano ham and cooked with apricots is delish; nearly as nice as the slow-cooked confit of pork belly, my favourite from my last visit. Basically it was all very tasty and costed between 6 and 10 euros per dish, food for 4 with a bottle of Spanish cider(lovely!) came to just under € 70. Friendly, attentive and helpful staff. When I’m in Galway again I’ll go back.

Without a doubt the best Spanish restaurant I’ve eaten in outside of Spain. Fantastically large amount of choice on the menu, friendly staff who clearly care about the food they serve and the atmosphere within which they do so and very accommodating service(we ended up cancelling our third dish as the sharing starter followed by meatballs and beetroot dishes were more than enough to fill us up). The well laid out and descriptive winelist is the final icing on the cake and I consider myself very fortunate to have been introduced to the charms of this concern.

The Radisson Hotel highly recommended this restaurant since we were looking for Spanish cuisine. I was not too impressed with the menu, so just ordered a few tapas and the waiter suggested a bottle of wine that was quite lovely. I was not happy with the food, however, the bottle of wine and the service more than made up for it… Needless to say I did have to stop to eat after the night out…

This restaurant is one of the best restaurants of Galway– or so I’ve heard. We tried it out on a Saturday evening. I recommend making a reservation. We made one a few days in advance and could be squeezed in at 9:30pm. The food we ordered: seafood pallea marina= yummy and flavorful. Meatballs– were great tasting but nothing extraordinary. Chorizo & potatoes had a nice spice. Pork belly with apple chutney was very flavorful and the apple chutney was a nice touch. We did not order dessert. The sangria was nothing special– I would stick to a bottle of wine. The service was not good at all. We had at least 3 waitstaff attending our table. We had to always ask for more water, extra silverware, more napkins, and even for a 2nd bottle of wine. They never checked up on our table unless we waved them down to see what we needed! Overall, a good experience– I hope the bad service was not normal for this place.
