came here during the galway stop of our ireland study abroad adventure. this place was a hit! they had great deals on beer, which is pretty rare considering all of the bars and pubs we went to were crazy expensive. its a pretty happenin college scene, and a lot of the people we met went to nui galway. it was ridiculously easy to meet people. i’m pretty sure everyone could tell we were americans but that didn’t stop them from meeting us and having a crazy time! the DJ that night was great too

We went both nights that I was in town. I liked this place because it was close to my hostel. It was within walking distance, which made it a prime place to go. Some nights it is open late, which is good for an American who is used to starting their night at 10pm.
They had some awesome drink specials– 2 for 5 cocktails

Great place!
10 Euro gets you a pint and dinner. They were VERY accommodating. I’m allergic to onions, and they made me a gravy free version for the mashed potatoes.
The food was pretty terrible, I couldn’t even finish it, but it was cheep, and when you’re drinking who cares. That’s why i can’t give 5 stars, but I really appreciate cheep bars at food. I can’t figure out why they charge so much in Dublin. it’s a lot safer to make sure college towns make sure those that are getting super drunk get food in their stomachs.
3 Euro pints for Tuborg and Balvaria, not too shabby, definitely would go here again.
