My husband and I had a fabulous time and meal at Le Petit Pois last night. It is run by a French couple and a French waiter. The owner, and sommelier, was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the wines. He brought up multiple bottles with each meal to tell us about them and then let us try the wines. The food was fabulous. They create a new menu every two weeks. I had the foie gras for appetizer and a vegetarian dinner of vegetables and quinoa… Sounds boring but was so delicious… Even for someone who normally orders duck or meat in a restaurant. The dessert, which we weren’t going to order but just had to after trying everything else, was also fabulous. I had the pear sorbet and meringue. Galway needed a restaurant like this… Delicious french food. I’m from New York and so really was yearning for a french bistro… And this certainly fit the bill.
