Amazing sushi. It is probably the best sushi I’ve ever had in my life… funny that it was in a Radisson Blu in Galway, Ireland of all places. I paired a lovely white wine with a nigiri sushi dish. The fish was so fresh and tender. And the rice was amazing — soft, flavored just right, perfect texture. My favorite part was the dessert sushi I got. They used sweet rice that was wrapped up in a chocolate coating(instead of seaweed). To replace the fish, they used fresh strawberry slices. And in place of soy sauce, there was this lovely raspberry coulis into which you could dip the dessert sushi. So good. One of my top five favorite desserts of all time. This place is very upscale and the view of the water is absolutely gorgeous. Quality dining experience here.

This is a really stylish and cool restaurant. The sushi was really fresh and everything we had was delicious The service is impeccable too. It is a bit pricey, however, and I would put that down to the connection to the hotel. It’s still worth a visit if you like your sushi and want to treat yourself

Very delicious Sushi bar in a nice setting at the top roof from the radisson blu hotel in Galway. Service top class and sushi is great quality, fresh and all kind of fish — design is very stylish, blue lights, clean décor and leather menu cards. Why I cannot give 5 stars? Sushi is expensive, so that’s not it. Even though there a better value sushi bars in Dublin… for here I would like to get a few more options on the menu — like miso included in every meal, options of seared salmon/tuna/beef rolls with sesame seeds, seaweed salad…

I’m guessing there’s not a decent Japanese population here in Galway. Sashimi isn’t fresh, sushi rice was dry, and the dessert chocolate sushi rolls were just too weird. Just stick to green tea mochi ice cream, and you’d be fine.

Now this is pure gourmet upscale sushi, nothing what you would find in the many little sushi bars around these days. Everything is extremely fresh(Galway=fresh fish!), and the chef is amazing. I’ve been to many sushi places in both Ireland and Japan, and I find the sushi here to be comparable to upscale Japanese sushi. I was very surprised to see Osaka oshizushi, something which I haven’t even seen in Japan! The menu also has a lot of creative Japanese cross Western fusion items, some of which I found quite creative and unusual. The presentation of the dishes is to perfection; Japanese standard. The atmosphere is very formal and quite romantic on the top floor of the Radisson and has a fantastic view of Lough Atalia, so I would highly recommend it for a special occasions or when you want to impress someone with some gourmet. Overall, excellent food, service, atmosphere and quality. 5 stars.
