If you’re looking for a very nice restaurant in Gorey, I recommend the Kin Khao Thai Restaurant on the North tip of main street.
This is authentic thai food and service, all their chef’s being Thai. The restaurant is very pleasant, simple, quiet and comfortable. The menu is extensive, including vegetarian, meals to share, spicy or mild, and with an Early Bird menu ’til 7 on Saturday and 7:30 otherwise.
We had a family meal there on Sunday evening — we were probably the last of the early birds. There’s no kid’s menu available and we weren’t sure if the kids would find something suitable on the thai menu, but in fact they loved it and Thai food is very definitely now on the agenda for them in future.
I’ve also eaten here with the lads after a round of golf and we licked the plates clean on that occasion.
