The Kitchen

I went there twice with my boy friend for dinner and lunch each time. The staff are always helpful and friendly, ambience is good and the daily special is always very tempting and yummy. I like their smoked salmon salad and super foods salad, and my boy friend likes their burger. We think it’s a good choice in Gorey

We came here on a weekend trip to the Seafield Spa and decided to have dinner in town. This restaurant came recommended by a local and so we gave it a go.
The restaurant is lovingly decorated and is cosy and quirky at the same time. The menu sounded delicious all around and I had a hard time making up my mind. Eventually we both settled for the Risotto.
The food was very good and the portion was big, definitely a great choice. The wood fired pizza looked amazing too and I would probably give it a go next time.
I’m gonna deduct a star, just because I felt that the service wasn’t as good as it could have been. We’d probably have ordered a second round of drinks, but the staff seemed overwhelmed with a half-​full restaurant and didn’t come by to check on our table.
