After a trying morning getting a rental car, took 3 hours, we were hunting for a place to have lunch and stumbled upon this wonderful local eatery called The Old Post Office Bistro. I was not anticipating writing a review and did not take notes about the meal. It was a local dish I’d never heard of and I thoroughly enjoyed. It’s located just steps from the main intersection in Slane. It was very cozy, immaculate, and the young girls serving were fast, friendly and very helpful.
