This is a local’s gathering spot, for sure. Tons of friendly folks — from the bartender, to the wait staff, to the guy on the bar sitting next to you.
Bangers and mash was the best I’ve had yet!
very family friendly.

This was a big pub and children were welcome. All the waiting staff seemed very friendly and helpful.
I had the stuffed mushrooms which was okay.
Big TV screens with quite a few men watching the racing at lunchtime — I forgot Cheltenham was on. As pubs go it was okay.
I paid and left a Unilocal card.
