Woodstock House and Gardens Visited April 2015: «Lovely, serene, and made for a picnic do not justifiably describe this place.» We were not able to eat at the Tea Room due to it being closed. We walked most of the gardens, and took several pictures of the Woodstock House that was in disarray. The grounds were huge and we both wished we had packed a lunch and blanket. There were markings along the trails describing what you were seeing or providing historic facts. There is a charge for parking, but if you walk up there is no charge. The website will say: «Entry to the Gardens is € 4, payable on exit(coin’s only)» but there was no one there to take our money. The weather was perfect for outdoor eating.
