The best take-​away in Kells, and the longest standing Chipper in the town.
The Fortes have been serving up the real deal for several decades, and to say it has a cult following in the town would be an understatement.
Real chipper chips. top snack boxes… big juicy breasts, quality pizzas and savage onion rings.
This place gets wedged at the weekends, Kells people love their chips on a Saturday.
One thing I have loved about this place is that they have never been open after the nightclub closes, a time where chippers invariably become a trouble spot. Why? Because they don’t have to. The Tower Grill is a Kells institution, like our famous book. Bring the book home!

Fantastic Takeaway Food!
Great gyros and burgers, curry fries, yum … everything is fast and friendly. Cheap and open when I’m awake (which is when most people are asleep). I’ll always have fond memories of this place.
