Killarney Riding Stables

Me and 2 friends booked a 2 hour ride here while visiting Ireland and we had a great time! 2 of my friends have little to no riding experience but I am an advanced rider so was hoping we could go on a ride that we’d all be satisfied with. They put us on the perfect horses. My scared friend got a very lazy huge draft horse which was perfect for her! There were 2 guides who were really nice and 3 of us… the first guide would ride on with my friends and me and the other guide would hand back so we could do some running or take a different trail. My horse was a little pokey still, took a lot of work to get him to go but when we did it was fun since I’m not used to riding draft like horses. We went through the National Park for the whole 2 hours and it was beautiful! The ground was a bit damp so when we ran water would be flying up all around us– pretty epic!
The guides were very sweet and would stop and take pictures of me and my friends which was cool. Over all we had a fun day riding and I would definitely go back to this place. We got to learn about how they care for their horses too, how they send them out to pasture at the owners property so none of them are over-​rode… seemed like a well run stable with happy/​healthy horses.
