Probably the best Irish food I’ve had in Ireland. I shared the lamb burger and the lamb stew with a friend and it was seriously amazing. I met the manager Mark and he was super friendly and hospitable. I would absolutely recommend eating authentic Irish food and beer here; you will not be disappointed!!!

The food was absolutely incredible. I ordered the Cottage Pie and I never wanted it to end. The entertainment was just as fantastic. Would come here for every meal.

We were here for the live music. Molly Maguire was performing, very entertaining and funny singers.

Enjoyed the food, the atmosphere, and the music. Great place to have a pint and sing along with the musicians. We had soup and curry that was delicious and the cheesecake was to die for! Our waitress was wonderful and yes, we waited awhile on the service, but it is a huge place and laid back. Enjoy another pint … The food will eventually get to you!

Came with a group of about 30, food took forever and was not that good. I give it a 2 because the Irish band playing was pretty good! The places was crowded and men were getting really rowdy at the pool tables, not sure if they were drunk or just being Really loud but made me think twice about going to the bathroom.

After a long day driving the Ring of Kerry, my friends and I need to re-​energize ourselves with dinner. We looked on trip advisor for some suggestions and finally agreed upon this gem.
There service was not great but after speaking with the waitress she informed us that two servers called out sick so they were extremely short staffed. They had a total of three wait staff and the floors after running all over the place. They did their very best to provide good service. Unfortunately the service is suffer because of this.
Now on to the food! … Talk about being delicious! I stated off with the Rosette of Oak smoked Salmon with potato pancakes. It was a perfect sized starter dish and light. The fish portion with just perfect.
The main dish was the Confit of Barbury Duck with potatoes, carrots, and broccoli. The duck was not fatty at all. The flavor was very deep and the sauce was amazing. I really enjoyed this dish!
Unfortunately my phone ran out of battery and I was unable to take pictures of the food.
The atmosphere was so much food. They had a live singer who played non stop for several hours. He sang true Irish songs in which we were all able to sing along with. It really gave the pub great place to sit, relax, and enjoy yourself.
Would defiantly recommend this place to anyone.

I took my family of six here for dinner. Food was ok. The only benefit was the price. I ordered the early bird special which was an appetizer and main. For the appetizer was breaded mushrooms, they seemed like premade and were just warmed up. For the main course, I got the earb encrusted pork loin with gravy. The gravy seemed to be canned and was the same gravy that was on my wife’s chicken.
I think the only person who really enjoyed there meal was my son who ordered the cottage pie and it looked decent and he said was good.
We were hoping for live music during dinner, but that didn’t start until 9pm as the night before we walked by at 6:30pm and there was a gentleman playing the guitar and singing Irish music He was really good.
Our server, Melissa, was extremely nice and politely.

Fui varias veces a este Pub, siempre con un gran grupo de amigos, y siempre sobre la misma hora… todas las veces el local estaba bastante lleno y había un ambiente muy agradable.
Es un Pub típico, como tiene que ser, con varios tipos de cerveza, una amplia carta de Whiskey (casi 30 de Irlanda, además algunos de Escocia y de EEUU), y servicio de comida/​cena.
La carta para comer es muy variada, con entrantes, ensaladas, sandwiches, platos fuertes…, para cenar hay también entrantes, ideales para compartir, y platos más elaborados (p.ej. confit de pato, estofado de ternera con Guinness).
Solamente probamos algunos platos para compartir, fish & chips, etc., y todo estaba bastante bueno y con las raciones muy adecuadas. ¿Quién esperaría comida de 5 estrellas en un pub de cervezas?)
Todas las noches a partir de las 21 h hay música en directo (hasta las 23 h; y hasta las 24 h los sábados).

The first night that we walked in (and we were there three nights!) I thought to myself, «dear god, this place looks rough and these people look like they’ve been to a few bars before.»
After chatting up the bartenders and servers and singing along with the other patrons while the live band played traditional Irish music, all was right with the world. You can’t get any more down to earth than this place. We had a great time!

This is a big popular place, so getting spot on service is going to be difficult. That said, the food and deserts were quite good. They have live music starting at 9pm. Again, it’s popular and will be crowded, so expect that in the atmosphere, it’s not going to be the quiet local pub. I’d go back.

The other reviews are spot on. The service is really slow even when there are barely any people and the food takes forever to come out after ordering and then it’s small and not that good. The server we had couldn’t tell us what an item on the menu was. I think it took about 20 minutes to be able to get someone over to our table to get our order in, despite being 2 of about 6 patrons in the entire place, and then another 30 (THIRTY!!) minutes for a sandwich and fish & chips to come out. The vegetarian panini was whatever — the bread was okay, the goat cheese good, but missing 1 of the 3 ingredients (basil pesto). Couldn’t get a server’s attention and frankly was too tired of waiting at that point. The salad that came with it wasn’t more than 2 or 3 bites. The fish portion was very tiny and not very good, and the chips were exactly what goes wrong with steak fries — mushy, mealy, and bad.

We came into the restaurant and were told by the staff to sit where ever we wanted. Once seated about 5 minutes later we were given menus and that was it for about 10 minutes. Not even a drink order. There were only about 4 other tables in the entire place. Staff walked past us 4 times. The 4^th time, we left.
Maybe this experience was just a one-​off but I don’t think I’d try them again.

My daughter and I arrived about 6 pm on a Friday night… the place was about ½ full. Took staff a bit to seat us, and from then on they seemed very harried, ie short of staff. Noticed the wait staff had to do everything… including bussing their own tables, mixing up Irish coffee drinks, etc.
That said, the place filled up fast and we enjoyed the antics and friendliness on a few young guys there for a stag party. My daughter had the vegetable lasagne and I had the Guiness Beef stew. Both were delicious. The two entrees, 1 starter and 1 beer came in at around 40 euros.

Great place, bar staff is very attentive. Would certainly go back. Recommended 100%

Went for drinks only. Decently priced, cozy, a nice fire place, and so-​so live entertainment from the other room. We may have gone back if we spent more than one night in Killarney.

The burger was mediocre, but I did wish I ordered something else. There were so few onion rings in an order that we had to order more. My family had some other items, but I don’t remember what some of it was. Sorry! Obviously, not memorable. I do remember them saying it lacked taste/​spices. Service was ok, but the restaurant appeared to have issues controlling the flies as we had to move to a different table in order to not be attacked by enormous flies that took over the window scene.
