Yummy very yummy! Fresh tasty. Extremely Busy in summertime with a long wait but that’s because the food is so great! Well worth waiting for.

Oh yes. I dream of this chipper. Genuinely. It is like the fish is so fresh that it has jumped out of the sea, taken a wiggle through the batter, hopped into the fryer and is ready to eat. So good. So fresh. So filling. So full. Keep eating. So sated! The chips are really good, but the fish is the star. Their tartar sauce is so good too.

Brilliant restaurant in a beautiful part of the east coast of Ireland. The prices are very reasonable and the fish is very good. I love fish so they caught me from the beginning. They have an Albariño wine in the menu and that is a sign that you are in a place where they know what they are doing. Highly recommended. I have been two times and it is my favorite.

This fish and chip take away has recently been extended to include a restaurant and has been dubbed the best fish and chip restaurant in Ireland by those who visit regularly. Note the takeaway place can get busy especially at peak hours due to its popularity. I was the only one in the queue at one point, and then there were 20 hungry people behind me! The menu includes a variety of fish(which has been freshly caught that day) chips, burgers, pizzas, and even tacos! The fish is served with homemade tartar sauce and wedges of lemon. The chips are tasty and not greasy at all. I did find the takeaway service a bit slow, but think that was due to the number of orders. People had rang through their order before me and then came to collect. There is outdoor seating which would be perfect for a warm day. Eating fish and chips overlooking the quay — what could be better?
