Sehr angenehm da, schöné Zimmer mit Blick auf den Marktplatz. Die Straße runter gehts gleich zum Shannonufer und zum Hafen. Ca. 50 EUR DoZi. Es gibt ein deftiges irisches Früstück mit Würstchen, Black Pudding usw. Die Gerichte am Abend sind sehr gut, sehr frisch, z. T. Designeressen. Viel los und viel Stimmung.

Great bar both for the local and for the tourist passing through Kilrush. For those of you that dont know, Kilrush is based at the mouth of the River Shannon In West Clare and is a great base to explore the beauties of Clare itself but also Galway and to the South Kerry.
Crottys is a traditional Irish bar whith serves great Guinness has fantastic Trad sessions, gorgeous food and great staff. I have been here many times and the Guinness was top notch last night when I went there, and when the rugby is on the price of the pint is € 3.50. So if you are a tourist who is travelling around West Clare, maybe, playing some Golf in Doonbeg or heading to the seaside in Kilkee, you wont go far wrong by stopping in and having a few pints and enjoying a session with some of the regular trad musicians that play here. The staff will look after you and in Winter the open fire will keep you cosey.
