Actons Hotel

Lovely hotel with nice rooms. So central to the heart of Kinsale. Stayed here for two nights and would highly recommend!

This is a great place to stay! The rooms are nice and spacious. We had a gorgeous view of the harbor from our room. Also the breakfast each morning was excellent. The small bar in the hotel is a great place to have drinks with your friends while striking up conversations and meeting new friends! The service here is OUTSTANDING!!! Always friendly and full of local knowledge and tips! They really helped make our stay even better! Paul, Ivan, Alla and Joey were beyond friendly and we’re very appreciated!

Kinsale is a very charming little town and the Actons hotel is great and right in the center of everything. The hotel is overlooking the harbor and I highly recommend paying the few extra dollars for the harbor view room. Over all the room was very comfortable, large and roomy. the bathrooms were so-​so, not great but ok for Europe. A bit small and older for my taste, but did the job. The breakfast at the hotel is also really good and I believe it come with the room. The Actons also has a very nice gym on the property and that is something we found hard to find in Ireland. If you like to work out I recommend taking advantage of this gym, it might be hard to find another one at your next hotel. The hotel is within walking distance of everything in Kinsale, we parked and didn’t start the car until we left. The lounge/​bar in the hotel is also very nice and usually open late and a nice place to end your day. I would stay at the Actons hotel again for sure!
