Vaughan Lodge Lahinch

Lovely intimate boutique hotel — spacious, comfortable rooms, powerful hot showers, wireless internet access, beautiful lounge with a fireplace & amazingly well-​stocked bar: what more could one need on a chilly night in Lahinch? The proprietor and staff were absolutely accommodating and kind. The breakfast was one of the best I had in all of Ireland. I was a bit sad the restaurant was closed in the evening — (it was low-​season, after all) — but I heard all kinds of great things about the food. If fortune favors us, we’ll be back.

Vaughans lahinch lovely! Had A gorgeous meal. Very fancy and detailed as is the way in Clare but tasty and exceptionally good service from waitress Breeda. She gets my vote as one of the best I ever met! The hotel looks nice with nice touches in the public area loos like ear buds. They are trying hard to be good, and succeeding for the most part. There are things that could be more finessed (slight wedding hall feel to the dining room, bar is very nice) great place generally.
