While waiting for a train one night I ventured across the road to a pub on Parnell street that I hadn’t really noticed before. It turned out to be a very good decision. Charlies St George has a classic interior design, like a traditional Irish pub. The place was packed even early on and the crowd was very friendly as were the staff. They were also watching the rubgy highlights so you know it’s a good pub. If you find yourself at Colbert Station stuck waiting for a train, this is a great place you can pop over to that is quite literally across the street.
