possibly one of the most beautiful dance venues in the world. Dance Limerick for dance, Dance Limerick for dancers, Dance Limerick for dance lovers. Funded by the Arts Council and Limerick City Council, Dance Limerick is a support and development organisation. Through a combination of performance platforms, residency opportunities, master classes, talks and lectures, Dance Limerick advocates for artistic dialogue and exchange.
In collaboration with dance artists across a range of practices, Dance Limerick promotes the creation of new and innovative work and devises programmes of access, engagement and participation for the wider public. You can find Dance Limerick in John’s Square, Limerick city. Dance Limerick houses offices and a fully equipped studio space along with a separate performance venue known as the Daghdha Space.
The space invites dancers, choreographers and audiences to stretch their imaginations to new heights. A bright and unconventional performance space, the Daghdha Space offers a flexible approach to seating, movement of performers and placing of sets.
