Great American Style Grill. Bacon & Cheese Burger & Fries done properly. Excellent onion rings on the side. Would recommend.

Savory food and upscale atmosphere in an easy to find location for a reasonable price.
We told ourselfs it would just a short afternoon nap to get acclimated to the time difference after traveling from The States… four hours later we awoke to find that the majority of resturants had stopped serving food and we were starving. Thank goodness someone recommended The Hamptons to us. Although we felt slightly under dressed in jeans and sweaters, the staff didn’t bat an eye and sat us right away. My husband got grilled swordfish and I got the mushroom ravioli in white sauce topping it off with two glasses of wine. Our bill was reasonable and even though we sat for awhile longer than we would normally, we didn’t feel rushed.
Would recommend a meal here to anyone looking for Irish hospitality, upscale ambiance, and a deverse cosmopolitan inpired menu.

I was in Limerick during a recent visit to Ireland and stopped in the Savoy Hotel and went to the upstairs restaurant for lunch and it was an exceptional experience. The food was exquisite and the service was excellent. The soup i choose was a seafood bisque that wasWill return on my next visit to Limerick.

Wandering the streets of Limerick and remembering reading on Unilocal this place had decent ratings, we decided to check it out.
Here is what the four of us had for dinner:
— Smoked Bacon Linguini — sauce was awesome — she cleaned her plate. She ordered the appetizer portion, and it was a decent size for one person
— Fork and Knife BBQ Ribs with a side of rice — he said the ribs are excellent — and the meat fell right off the bone — the appetizer portion was 6 ribs.
— Hickory Bacon & Cheese Burger — he said it was good, the cheese and bacon lacked a little flavor, but overall it was good.
— Peppercorn Salmon — I had the salmon, it was pretty tasty. The lemon & dill sauce was yummy.
— French Onion Soup — very very good — it was a HUGE serving, but I ate it all.
We ended our night with with the Baileys Irish cheesecake — I wanted to lick the plate

Great food and great service for a fair price. Would definitely recommend for people in town on business or pleasure.

Very nice place. Looks fancy but reasonably priced. Next to the savoy hotel downstairs. Good service and great choices for dinner. Wild mushroom ravs were outstanding. Chowder was ok– not super. Atlantic cod — very nice. salmon was decent. Kids loved the awesome freshly made veggie burgers. Decent wine list. 3.5 shamrocks.

A group of college friends and I decided to take advantage of the Christmas break to meet and The Hamptons came highly recommended. The restaurant was beautifully decorated for Christmas and the place was abuzz when we arrived. The welcome and service here are truly second to none. Polished, friendly, attentive and professional.
We started with a bottle of Veuve which was opened table-​side with panache. One person ordered off the special Christmas menu, which was an excellent value. The rest of us chose from the a la carte menu. I ordered the house pâté, which could easily compete with the best I’ve eaten (@ a brasserie in Annecy). I had the rack of lamb as my main course and enjoyed every flavorful ounce. Next time I go back, I will be sure to be hungry enough to order the Cote de Beouf.
The wine selection was wonderful and the waiter was perfectly attentive to our needs throughout the evening. We had a wonderful night and I would have no hesitation in recommending The Hamptons.

We ate here for our Christmas party on Friday night. We booked the early bird set menu which was 28euro for 4 courses. The choice was very good. I myself had the chicken satay skewers which were lovely and the steak which was fine. A few girls had the lemon sole which they raved about. All the desserts are served in little Jam jars which was very cute and tasty. A Parisian Co-​worked asked could he bring a bottle of wine from his cousin cuvee in bordeaux and this was not a problem either. We also enjoyed some rather tasty cocktails to celebrate Christmas. All in all a very pleasant evening

The restaurant is very nice.
The décor and ambiance are modern and elegant. Based on the appearance of the restaurant I was expecting a higher price.
On the day I went there was a special of 3 courses (appetizer, main entrée and desert) for 25 EUR.
I had Fried Buffalo Mozzarella (it was good!), the signature dish: Grilled Sirloin (It was outstanding!) and Triple Chocolate Mousse (good but small!).
Of course you can not pass having a Guinness!

Excellent choice for all and vegetarians. portions are tiny !! Cheap enough considering its high quality food. The décor is nice and the staff are really good and fun too. Desserts are amazing, again are teeny though. Good selection of wine.
