Maldron Hotel Limerick

Well, the hotel is lovely, architecturally and in terms of cleanliness.
Unfortunately, this hotel does not offer wifi. You can get a wired connection for no charge, but it is incredibly inconvenient.
Room service doesn’t begin until four in the afternoon and even then, the menu is very limited. The Chicken Vol au Vant is extremely oversalted.
The wait staff are also generally very passive and not all that kind. The person we spoke with over the convenience phone for room service sounded very irritated and overwhelmed and constantly asked us to repeat ourselves even though we spoke quite clearly.
The radiators in our hotel suite also do not work. There are also no locks on the doors except for the one leading to the hallway.
This is a very clean and modern hotel, but there could be a lot more done to improve staying conditions.

I used to work there. Hotel is great, bar is trendy and big. Great selection of bar food. Restaurant upstairs is massive and you will always get a table too. City centre is 5 mins by taxi.

Stayed here for 3 nights in March. Had a larger room sleeping 3 which was very comfortable. Equipped with hairdryer, iron and ironing board, kettle and tea and coffee. Bathroom nicely fitted with toiletries too. Views from the room not great as on the Southern Ring Road, but well located about 5 minutes from the centre of town. Great rates obtained.
