This restaurant is thankfully open again after changing managment. Moll’s is a great spot for food in Limerick. Their food is honest to goodness, fresh, Irish fodder. It’s delicious. We went as a big gang, about 12 of us, and there was no problem. The waitress was really friendly and took very good care of all of us. I love chowder(€ 7.95) so had to have it to start, then i had beef(€ 29) which was delicious. Super tender with lovely roast parsnip. The Shannon Salmon(€ 30) was gorgeous too, and massive. You’d think I wouldn’t have much room after that but oh no — there’s a dessert plate on the menu. I love this because I just want a bite of something sweet and I like lots of sweet things. So I had this for € 8.50 and had a little slice of lemon merigue pie, bread and butter pudding, chocolate tart(!) and vanilla icecream. We sat on drinking and having the craic until closing. Super chef Alan Wheeler came out to greet us too. So we could congratulate him on a delicious spread. I’ll be back to Moll’s.
