My pizza at Papa Gino’s Pizza Parlour was «tailor-​made».
First I wanted just a slice of pizza, but Papa Gino’s don’t sell by the slice «because people don’t buy it, they prefer to pay € 2.00 for Curry Chips».
So I was offered a child’s pizza for € 5 instead.
My friend doesn’t eat pork so we started debating which one to choose, when Papa Gino himself said «you will have chicken with cheese». I tried to get details by reading the menu and he said «it’s not there, I just invented for you».
Well, the pizza was OK — just OK, but the experience was fantastic.
Papa Gino should be awarded as an Official Character of Limerick! He is fascinating and entertaining without even trying.
It may not look fancy from the outside, but hey!, a lot of good food places don’t! Maybe you’ll have the chance to take a photo with «THE» Papa Gino’s like we did!
