The chef and staff go out of their way to feed those of us with severe food allergies-and feed us deliciously. Sweet pea soup is amazing, and the staff is the best ever. Recommend if you’re like me and basically have to make your own food at home.

The Yew Tree is fantastic! I ate here several times and it was outstanding each time. Amuse bouche: foie gras mousse royale & cherry espuma mousse served in a brilliant turquoise blue half moon bowl. Sweet Corn soup poured from a tiny glass teapot into a bowl swirled with sweet corn and basil purée. Smoked salmon under a glass dome filled with a smidgen of heavenly smelling smoke that erupts up into the air when glass is lifted. Nice thick slice of fish served with tiny cubes of beet, thin pickled cucumber, and tiny purple flowers. Ham hock terrine apple and pastry crisp. Seared scallops with pork croquette, and carrots in accompaniment. Carrots Sliced paper thin and pickled, baby carrots, carrot purée. monk fish with crispy potatoe encircled round, prawn, carrot, coconut and pea risotto. Great menu and very nice wine list.
