AMAZINGFOOD and CHEAPPRICES! What more could you ask for? I went to this adorable restaurant when I was visiting Listowel. The name is fitting as it is right off the square, and the food… let me tell you… is right on the dot! First off, the ambiance of the restaurant is extremely charming with a home-like feeling to it. Books are neatly placed around the ledges on the wall for anyone to enjoy when you are waiting for your food… though the service is quite fast! The girl working there was extremely sociable(i love irish people!) and nice as well! The first time I was there I had the most amazing carrot and coriander soup. My friend who took me there goes all the time and she said the soups are always fabulous. It just tasted so hearty and you could tell the ingredients were fresh. It also came with delicious brown bread… yum! My friend ordered some sort of wrap… I can’t remember what it was called but I do remember it tasting unbelievable. Seriously the food was so good I had to go back one more time before I continued with my travels… so I did! This time I was there for breakfast and started with an Americano. Okay, I am a big coffee and espresso drinker from the US and have had my fair share of good and bad drinks. I was skeptical ordering this since my experience ordering Americanos in Ireland thus far was not wonderful. Well would you believe that this place can make a DAMN good Americano… seriously is there something they can’t do? Their other espresso drinks looked delicious as well… some with chocolate, some with vanilla… heaven. For my meal I ordered the Healthy Porridge. The presentation was beautiful with a design on top using bananas and honey. It tasted wonderful and the portion was more than I could eat. And I haven’t even mentioned the icing to top this cake of a place… the prices are unbelievably reasonable! I am a student and cheap is what I can afford. For the quality and quantity of food you get, it truly is a steal. Overall A++++++ and I would absolutely recommend anyone to go here if you ever go to the little town of Listowel!
