Dropped in to this pub on the main street in Longford for a pitstop on the way back to Dublin. There was a few guys sitting at the bar reading newspapers and doing crosswords. A very pleasant girl took our order for tea and some eats. Unfortunately with us driving we had to leave the Guinness but it looked nice! The inside of the pub is oldworlde and the back section of the pub is styled like an old cottage with open heart and armchairs by the fire. We were smitten with«the cottage» and all the antiques and memorabilia on the wall. Wished I could have stayed the evening. Nice pub and would like to try it for a session in the future.
