Lovely café on Main Street Gorey. Bright and clean. Very pleasant, friendly staff. Dropped by this morning for breakfast. Had the French toast served with bacon and maple syrup, very tasty and a decent cappuccino. Very good breakfast menu, lots of nice fresh cakes, tarts and pastries. Small café, busy location, you don’t feel cramped though. Small amount of outdoor seating on Main Street too.

Got off the bus in Goery to meet my parents, thet were running a little late so i poped in here to kill some time. You’re greeted at the door and walk by the display of delicious looking home made cakes and treats. The apple tart caught my eye so obviously I ordered it. Warm, crumbly, packed with sweet tarte apples and a cute little side of cream. Got a nice big mug of coffee which wasn’t too bad. The staff are really friendly and the place was buzzing. Think I’ll have to hop off the bus in Goery more often.

First things to say about purple sage: Tea Cozy. This place serves great tea and seems to have great food options, but I found most interesting/entertaining was their knitted tea cozies. It’s a small location and easily missed, but absolutely worth an escape from rain/restoration via a latte. Notably, the selection here is pretty good — plenty of vegetarian options and freshly baked pastries as well.
