Every bite was delicious. We came on the recommendation of our airbnb host, and he could not have chosen better. Not too many choices on the menu, but if there were more I wouldn’t have been able to choose! I had sage and squash tortellini to start. Pretty sure the dough was homemade, and the squash and sage was a nice mixture of sweet and savory. For a main I had slow cooked beef with mash, roasted mushrooms, and kale. Everything was toothsome and the flavor and textures were all complimentary. Portion size was just right; not too big, not too small. For dessert, I had lemon tart which, while not quite what I was expecting, was still fantastic, with poppy seeds adding a nice bit of crunchiness. Should you ever find yourself in Loughrea, definitely check these guys out.
