My wife and I were over to Loughrea for the Christmas season, and we found bookworm through one of my many cousins reference to the place. We immediately fell in love with the place, the inside is very cozy, and the food is great. We also love the proprietors of the bookworm as they were very friendly and offered us recipes and tastes of various things that they put together. It’s a very special place. Check it out!

A very cosy restaurant — that is also a second hand bookshop… cool. Great atmosphere, with nice big couches to lounge in while reading or having a chat over a cup of coffee. I ordered the Beef Burger, which was yum-yum, spicy and delicious, and it came with a nice side salad and chunky chips. If I lived near here it would be a regular stop for me!
