An Stór Tourist Hostel

This is a great place to stay for the weekend or for a week. Maria is lovely and really cares for her guests. It’s really homey, clean, and the breakfast is delicious ! There is an extra bright and big kitchen if you need to cook your own dinner. Will definitely book again if I gotta stay in Middleton again.

I went here together with 7 colleagues from work when Cork’s Hostels were all booked out due to the Jazz Festival.
An Stór is a owner-​operated youth hostel in Midleton, approx. 20 km from Cork city centre, so Cork is easily reachable. There is a large private parking available at the hostel for free.
We stayed for one night in a 8-​person bedroom, which was nice and clean. The sheets were all very fresh and clean, too. The bathroom is small, but this is a hostel and not the Hilton.
All in all, you get a good and cheap stay reasonably near to Cork and it’s Tourist attractions.
