I was out here for the Haunted Spooktacular and had a ball! The people who run it are really enthusiastic and pleasant and the set up is just great. I can’t say too much or I will give it away, just remember to wear comfy shoes, warm clothes and prepare to be scared. Lots of frights and«Oh No» moments, so if you love horror or Halloween I highly recommend it! Great way to spend an evening and well worth the bit of a trip outside the pale.

Excellent venue for family days out! I have been here for the Halloween Spooktacular and the Christmas experience, both have been brilliant! The staff really offer high quality entertainment ranging from story telling, to games, tricks, and even treats! I’ve been here a number of times and each time I’ve felt like I’ve been welcomed in to a family home with open arms! The events on the farm are great for kids and adults… would highly recommend this for a Christmas experience! AMAZING!

we had a great visit to Santa here. we started with seeing a live crib where we all sang away in a manger with a countrified Joesph and Mary. we then moved onto being fed homemade mince pies and warm apple cider and then the trip through the old house where we met elves, Mrs Claus and found all our names on the good list! by the time we met Santa coming down the chimney we were nearly full to the brim with Christmas spirit! the only let down for me was the minimal animals i saw on the farm which i suppose was to do with the fact it is December and cold but where were all the animals hidden? maybe causey farm is more about the activities than seeing farm animals or maybe access to the fields was closed? not too far a drive out of Dublin either which is a bonus and after stopping off at the halfway house for dinner on the way home made for a nice day out.

I had the best time here! DCU took a bunch of international students to Causey Farm to experience Irish Farm life. We learned how to play a traditional Irish drum, learned traditional Irish dancing, made soda bread from scratch, ate said soda bread with soup and other items at the end of the day. We also went down to the bog and cut turf and learned about the importance it plays on the ecosystem, milked a cow, watched the farmer herd his sheep and played a game of Hurley. At the end of the day, after the meal we listened and joined in to traditional Irish music. Being an international student it was a fantastic experience and everyone from the group loved the trip!
