Oh boy… oh man… oh dear In the premises once used by newports only chip-shop is now newports only icecream parlour. There are bits that are right… the colour scheme… all pink and inviting and what few icecreams there are are all very good… but there it is right there.. the few that are on offer. I counted 6 and I think 2 of them were chocolate. The young guy who served us was inept… I could sugar coat it but I’m not in the mood.. I should also be making some joke about sugar coating and the small array of sweets on offer but again… nah. Don’t get me wrong, the place has huge potential but on my two recent visits it was no where near hitting the mark. Still, give it time I guess.
