Such a lovely place to pop down to and just relax. The staff could be a little bit friendlier. Although they have recently turned it into a waiting service restaurant? The food used to be fantastic, however I think they may have changed chef, even though the dishes are the same, the presentation and some ingredients are different which is a bit disappointing :(

I adore this little Breakfast & Brunch place in Ongar Village. There is no better place to go on a Sunday morning, hung over and in desperate need for a full Irish Breakfast. The place has a great atmosphere. Comfy couches, a full bookshelf and tons of magazines and newspapers to pick from. The menu itself is delicious too. I really like the full Irish Breakfast. The portion is huge and I normally share it with my BF. On the site I order one of these delicious Granola cups(I can not get enough of them, but you have to come early to get one. They are popular and often sold out by the time I manage to crawl out of bed on a lazy Sunday morning). A nice cup of steaming hot peppermint tea in one hand, a newspaper in the other and the cup of heavenly fresh, crunchy, slightly sour but yet sweet Granola cup is the perfect start for a great Sunday =-).
