This is a local bar for local people.
(Which is okay I guess in a small place like Oranmore.)
What I mean by this is that everyone knows everyone else and you can feel a bit unwelcomed. I ordered a couple of drinks at the bar and only after 2 other people had ordered and received their drinks did I get mine. Gotta look after the regulars I expect.
Beer was cold though so I guess that’s a plus.
Decent atmosphere and if you have lived here for 40+ years this would be a pretty decent place to hang out in.

Quite alright for a foreigner but I missed that warm welcoming feeling what pubs usually provide.
