Cafe Latte

Small, really popular café located on the main square in Portlaoise! They do a mix of salads, sandwiches and hot food, with a nice selection of scones and other sweet treats on the side.
The staff are really friendly and helpful (and switch between here and their other place in The Dunamaise Theatre, both have the same menu).
I only gave this place three stars for a couple of reasons:
1. It’s small so you often can’t get a table when you want one. It’s also not that nice to sit in.
2. It comparison to some other cafes I’ve reviewed this is nothing special, it’s a bog standard café that does good sambos.
In saying that, if you are looking for a tasty sandwich to take away, you’ll get one here. I usually get their club sandwich as it’s really nice but beware, you may not be able to move for a while afterwards!
