Ratoath Inn

It’s an alright pub, it does the job.
We ended up out in Ratoath for a funeral and the Ratoath Inn served soup, sandwiches, tea and coffee to the freezing masses who had attended. We had a decently laid out backroom and the service was excellent.
After the food was finished we headed into the main lounge and I found it pleasant and typical of the area, so all in all it was nice.
Ratoath Inn loses a few stars as 1) it’s nothing super amazing and 2) the toilets off the function room weren’t in great shape — then again, you don’t plan the funeral afters very far in advance so they didn’t have a lot of time to prepare and it was a Sunday so maybe the cleaning staff wasn’t in.
Like I said, it does the job.

Un– friendly staff. Poor service and the smell from the toilets… Eek. Try the Auld Stand 100m away. Much better

Very nice local pub that serves a nice pint and is always kept clean. The recent re-​furb makes the place well worth a visit.

Apologies to the Auld Stand and Ryans but the Ratoath Inn is my favourite pub in Ratoath village!
