Deasy’s Of Ring

This restaurant is a hidden jewel. And it deserves more than any other, its five stars.
It was recommended by a friend, but we had some trouble finding it — it is in the middle of a curve in the road, so you basically notice it at the last moment, if you notice it at all. Also, there might be no parking spot available, because there are not many.
The place is ok — really nothing out of the ordinary, it just feels simple but good. The service is really kind — we initially arrived before the opening hour, so a young lady answered our question and told us about a place to go grocery shopping.
The price — sooooo cheap. So really, no excuse not to visit it. And the food, Lord the food. Freshly baked bread, awesome cheese — and that is a rare thing to find outside of France. Everything was very good, fresh and flavourful. Would definitely make a detour to visit them again!

The food was incredible as was the service. We went to Ireland for our honeymoon and of all the places we ate, this was at the top. Some of the ingredients came from the place we were staying (Dunworley Cottage) so the owner recommended Deasy’s to us and told us the chef was a genius and it turned out that she was telling the truth! We hope we get to come back to Ireland some day and eat at Deasy’s again.
