Within 5 minutes of entering Lough Key Forest and Activity Park, I was reduced to the age of 5 years old. There was so much to do and so little time, but I had unfortunately, had made the monumentous mistake of only setting aside an hour or so, to «put a check in the box» beside this local attraction.
If I can save just one person the disappointment I felt when (for the 3^rd time) my girlfriend tried to usher me out of the park, this review will have been worth it. This is no where near your average park. You could easily spend an entire day, getting lost under the glowing green canopies of the forest or swept up in the romance and history that lingers near the bridges and brooks. Simply put, it has been one of the most beautiful places I’ve had the pleasure to have visited to date.
